All About Eve...I mean She...

If it makes you happy it can’t be that bad

Hi, I'm She, a barrio lass from Philippines now living in Paris. This blog is spin-off of my immigration here in France. I got here in mid-2016. I’m passionate about many things, in random, that I often whine (inside my head) that this lifetime is not enough to do everything that I would want to do. Like everybody else, I love music, literature, cinema, and history. So I got this romance on knowing the story of each street, corner, bridge, park, etc. in Paris as well as concerts and movies. I try to keep myself updated with fashion stuff but I still follow the minimalist principle.

***Update as of 31 October 2018 15:26: I'm in love with Adobe After Effects right now as well as the rest of the Adobe CC.

Another interest of mine is making things as simple as possible. It is my laziness that drives me to organize things and make them accessible. I’ve got this passion for archiving. I’m a digital hoarder so I will be documenting too the administrative procedures relating to immigration that I’ve been through so I could share it. Establishing your life in a totally different environment is not that easy dude so I hope that those searching for information and who might stumble upon this blog can extract something useful. Being able to make someone’s life easier through this is a reward for me already…and…I get to write.

I am also in love with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). I’ve taken it more than a decade ago and it has helped me discover and accept my personality. It has helped me fit into the extroverted Parisian lifestyle. I would like to share how I work my way out of the situations that I was into, being an introvert, and especially my miss and hits so we could share notes.

Being an introvert doesn’t mean we can’t work with a team like what I've always heard. I’ve been sent to a lot conferences which involved a lot of group activities and we had fun. I’m a developed introvert I guess. Thanks to MBTI.

I also check regularly the political situation, geo-politics to know if there's a missile coming my way or what. I took up Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines and then went on to get a Legum Baccalaureus (LLB) degree. It was an exciting experience.

  1. Hi She! I love your blog! Do you mind to share how you managed to immigrate to Paris? Asking because I am also from Asia and would love to immigrate but don't speak French yet..
